When pulled to sitting position, may hold his head in line with his back
This is the child's ability to use large muscles. For example, a six-month-old baby learns how to sit up with some support, a 12-month-old baby learns to pull up to a stand holding onto furniture, and a five-year-old learns to skip.
TIP: Be careful, as your child's neck muscles are just beginning to develop strength to hold his head in line. You will get a sense from how wobbly his head is how much support you should provide.
