Thanks for this post! I was just looking over your list of Christmas books in Honey for a Child's Heart last night. I appreciate the links and the suggestions. Always enjoy reading your blog posts.

Thank you for this list with links for each title! I was trying to compile a similar one last night for my own newsletter readers, so I think I'll add yours, too, with a link to your site. Ours overlap quite a bit, and you had links for some that I didn't. I just read A Certain Small Shepherd to my kids a few days ago, and An Orange for Frankie has been another favorite from the library. Some of my other picks are King of the Stable by Melody Carlson, One Wintry Night by Ruth Bell Graham, Mary's First Christmas by Walter Wangerin, Jr., An Amish Christmas by Richard Ammon, The Best Christmas Pageant Ever by Barbara Robinson, The Legend of the Candy Cane by Lori Walburg, and The Tale of Three Trees by Angela Elwell Hunt. I wish I had my old copy of Santa Mouse from my childhood, but somehow it got misplaced within the last few years. ~~ Virginia at www.VirginiaKnowles.blogspot.com
