Honey for a Child's Heart

Love to read about books and your thoughts about books. As a teacher and gramerly, I'm ever on the prowl for good material to get into my children's hands.
So sad to change Oliver the cat's story.
My niece is seven and in first grade. I've felt she's been developmentally ready to read for quite sometime, so I asked her recently if she was reading any good chapter at books at school. She told me that she wasn't, but her mom was reading Junie B. Jones to her at home. My little grandboy popped up and said, "My daddy's reading me a chapter book. It's called Huck Finn, but we only have ten more pages." I smiled.

Thanks for sharing.

Mrs. Hunt,
Our oldest daughter is 15 yrs old and I still use your book when I go to the library or am picking up books for my other three kids. Thank you for compiling this book so long ago! I do want to ask if you've read the 100 Cupboard series by N.D.Wilson-I just read about the book and was thinking about picking it up but thought I'd ask you first!
Again, thank you so much!
