Once your child begins drawing with colored pencils, you will discover the need for a GOOD pencil sharpener, which are surprisingly hard to come by. We recommend this German sharpener that works very well with large and small colored pencils.
It doesn't shred pencils!
I purchased several pencil sharpeners for my daughter's colored pencils only to find that the tips would break in EVERY one. This pencil sharpener is different! It is actually made well and works for colored pencils!
