Great introduction to history!

My five-year-old is just beginning to develop a sense of history, and doesn't yet know anything about the revolutionary war. We've told her that once this place was ruled by the British, but that doesn't mean much to her. This book with its redcoats (or "red jackets" as she calls them) provided an age-appropriate way to learn about an exciting and pivotal time in US history.
